Kandos Museum AIR : documenting interesting items in the Museum collection

The Day After
Knowing how much I love to draw, the staff and volunteers at the Kandos Museum invited me to spend some time with the collection. Set up on a table in the main collections room, I developed three drawings and finished two cups of tea. Thanks for being such great hosts @kandosmuseum

The Drawing Exchange
7 August - 22 September 2017
Adelaide Central Gallery and Teaching & Studio Building & National Art School, Rayner Hoff Project Space

The Drawing Exchange is a collaboration between the nation’s top art schools, bringing together 22 artists from around Australia to produce new works drawn directly onto the walls of Adelaide Central School of Art and the National Art School in Sydney.

At once an exhibition and open studio, The Drawing Exchange will see drawings made live at each venue, allowing audiences rare opportunities to engage with artists as they work. The project aims to foreground the drawing process, and highlight the inherently human act of drawing and the tension between personal creativity and public display.  more details ...
