Produced during her 2018 8-week scholarship as the inaugural Printer in Residence at the University of Sydney Library. Murray used letterpress, screen print and digital printing processes to produce Sydney - We Need to Talk!, a collection of short, accessible interventions about the politics of urbanisation. The book includes a series of exquisite illustrations by Wendy Murray. The 56 page book was released in conjunction with the 2018 Festival of Urbanism. Night & DAY

During her first Hill End Artist in Residence in 2010, Wendy began the Daily – a series of observational drawings created in one day. The series has expanded to over 300 drawings that document the rural and urban environments in Australia, New Zealand and North America. Night & Day features a selection of the Daily drawings including works completed during her second Hill End Residency undertaken in 2018. Includes written contributions by Maryanne Coutts, Sarah Gurich, Genevieve Carroll and Waratah Lahy.
